"......Beginning in January, 2010, this Writer and Photographer became aware of the "great historical value" he was seeing and photographing in the different parts of the world...I was impressed with what I was seeing as I photographed the old Spanish Fort El Morro, in Puerto Rico, as it was built in the early 1540's by the Spanish as was in the early beginnings for Puerto Rico. I knew I had to select a "Featured Historical Image" for the occasion and the following photograph, as it was taken was selected, which was over the wall of the "Old Fort El Morro"...The photograph showed a picturesque view of the "beautiful Caribbean coastline" with "the Old Cemetery" and in the distance an "Old San Juan" as featured in today's world....

".....This Writer, as he again returned to Puerto Rico in January, 2011 had to visit the "El Portal Rain Forest" which had he had heard so much about. He and two of his friends spent an afternoon, under most ideal conditions in the Rain Forest looking at beautiful scenery and the scope of such a beautiful magnitude as was witnessed there on that day. This Writers photographs bear out the fact that it is a place that all who visit Puerto Rico should make a point of visiting and that it has such "great historical significance" attached to the overall beauty of the "El Yunque National Forest. Without question, we had to select the following "National Historical Image" of "The La Mina Falls" as our "Featured Historical Image" for this our trip to Puerto Rico in the month of January, 2011.....

".....As a person who has been in the "Greater Cincinnati Area since may of 1990, there was much of this area and it's attractions of historical significance of this "Greater Cincinnati Area" that this Writer and Photographer did not know about,---- and wanted to learn more! So many who live in our "Greater Cincinnati Area" do not know exactly what is here or what great historical value and significance we have truly played in the development of these United States of America. "Our Historic Cincinnati" in this website, fully describes what and how "The Union Terminal" came to be honored as a "National Historical Landmark" in 1977--and as this Photographer was and felt so privileged to photograph "The Union Terminal" in July, 2011...

".....As this Writer and Photographer entered The Union Terminal, the following wide-angle was to become a one-of-a-kind photograph of such a "Historic Rotunda" and truly a vital part of this truly "Historical National Landmark" known as "The Union Terminal"....Contained within the "Rotunda's complex" are: "The Cincinnati History Museum", "The Museum of Natural History", and "The Children's Museum". Very evident are the contributions of "a now deceased", Mr. Carl H. Lindner, whose influences were not only in the OMNIMAX Theatre,"but also extensive contributions by him in the overall development of "The Union Terminal" as it was to be designated in 1977, ---then becoming a "Historical National Landmark", and a developing attraction for the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area...Today, The Union Terminal offers AMTRAK passenger train service on a Washington D.C. to Chicago with connections on a regular schedule....
